Los Angeles-based award-winning (Campaign 30 under 30/D&AD/Cannes Lion/BFI Official Selection/Future Female Leaders/ Vimeo Staff Picks) multi-disciplined creative director prev. Video editor, motion designer, musician, social activist (Woman Up, Pride of Arabia) & public speaker (Glug, Adweek, The Dots).

Rebecca Rumble started her career 15 years ago by co-founding Format.LDN a motion design studio that was commissioned by BAFTA & MTV. She left the studio to pursue an opportunity that engaged her biggest passion, music, and was appointed by Zane Lowe as Editor for his Sooner Music platform. 

With her constant desire for emerging culture, Rebecca was attracted to Vice. She lead their motion design arm, contributing work during Vice's record years of success. This includes designing titles for Snoop Dogg's Reincarnated (SXSW/TIFF Official Selection/Netflix) & Fantastic Man. 

Rebecca moved to New York after spending five years building a content studio at R/GA London. As Creative Director, her role encompassed storytelling through video and motion problem-solving for UX & Ai while exploring content trends for social. She was a part of R/GA's hit work, from Oprah to Instagram's Hero to Google's Year In Search to Beats Music.

During Covid, she took up a new adventure in tech and directed Squarespace's content studio. A role routed in editorial content for entrepreneurs while also looking to the future of content creation, working on products that utilize machine learning to create systematic storytelling at scale.

Outside of work, she has collaborated on numerous films, which include Vogue's "Looking back Pride" (Vimeo Staff Picks) to the independent film "Incomplete" (2017 Official Selection at BFI's LGBT film festival) & "Hardest Word" (awarded gold in 2017 Cannes Young Director Awards)—at the same time, working on films for Nowness, Arts Council, Business of Fashion, Christian Dior & Channels 4's Random Acts.

She also played synth & keys in the band DWA, who supported Skream, remixed The XX & was featured on The Guardian, Dazed & Confused & BBC's Steve Lamacq show. She's a big advocate for queer music and its community; you can find her occasionally DJing or putting on local club nights.
